Samsung launches the Galaxy S26 FE at $699, the first Galaxy S26 phone to ship with One UI 9
Samsung held a roughly 10-minute online "Galaxy Event" livestream on August 27 to launch the Galaxy S26 FE, a lower-priced addition to the Galaxy S26 lineup. The phone has a 6.7-inch FHD+ display, an Exynos 2500 chipset, and 8GB of RAM to start; its triple rear camera pairs a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization with a 12MP ultrawide and an 8MP 3x optical telephoto lens. The 4,900mAh battery supports 45W wired and 15W wireless charging, and it's the first Galaxy S26 model to ship out of the box with One UI 9. The 128GB U.S. model is priced at $699 and the 256GB model at $799 — $50 more than last year's Galaxy S25 FE. Select carriers get it starting September 3, with Samsung.com and other retailers following September 4, in Pistachio, Blueberry, and Graphite colorways.
